Paul Conrad, Managing Director
Paul Conrad is an accomplished professional who offers exceptionally broad experience in the Title Insurance industry. He began his working career in the legal services industry in 1974, and in 2014, applied his comprehensive expertise experience as a real property title insurance examiner to found, manage and oversee Real Property Abstract & Title Services, LLC. His unparalelled knowledge of underwriting standards, and, expertise within inspecting titles to determine a property’s legal status, and extensive experience with closing representation has made him a go-to resource for attorneys, licensed surveyors, professional engineers, government officials, bank officers, brokers and municipal agents.

Paul regularly represents the company at major commercial closings involving shopping centers, municipal/bond authority funding for colleges and institutions, and commercial loan workout transactions.

Paul has managed operations at real property title insurance agencies for decades, and has developed a broad extensive background in real estate, customer service, legal research, real estate owned (REO) property, and development. He is versed and privy to the regulatory environment governing title insurance. 

Paul Conrad attended Allegheny College in Meadville, PA and holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Dutchess Community College. Paul is a NYS DFS Licensed Title Insurance Agent. He is a member of the the NY State Land Title Association, the American Land Title Association and the Dutchess County RegionaI Chamber of Commerce. He is enthusiastic participant in outdoor activities such as skiing and golf in his personal time, Paul is also widely involved with volunteer efforts in Dutchess County. He is a Chairman of the Advisory Board of The Salvation Army Poughkeepsie Corps, Board member of the Dutchess Community College Foundation, former Treasurer and Vestry man at St. Nicholas on the Hudson Episcopal Church, volunteers for Dutchess County Historical Society, and past Board member of the Dutchess County unit of the American Cancer Society.
